Seoul Market: Gwangjang Market Edition Comes to EziStreat

Apr 14, 2025

Eat, Play, Seoul: Gwangjang Market Takes Over EziStreat  | 12pm-5pm

We’re bringing Seoul’s most iconic street market all the way to North Melbourne!

We’re so excited to announce the return of Seoul Autumn Market, and this time, we’re transforming EziStreat into a vibrant Gwangjang Market-style street fest — packed with sizzling food, traditional games, hanbok try-ons, and Korean market magic.

If you’ve ever strolled through Gwangjang Market in Seoul, you’ll know what we mean: the smell of sizzling pancakes, the buzz of people gathered around street stalls, vendors shouting out daily specials, and a whirlwind of colours from hanbok fabrics to spicy kimchi pots.

In collaboration with My Korean School and the Consulate General of Korea, this market is all about recreating that classic Korean 시장 (sijang) vibe — from mouth-watering bites to hands-on cultural experiences.

| What to Eat (And Drink!) |

Now let’s talk FOOD — because that’s what everyone really comes for, right?

Inspired by the legendary food stalls of Gwangjang Market, we’ve brought together the ultimate lineup of Korean street eats:

  • Tteokbokki (Spicy & Sweet Stir-fried Rice Cake) 떡볶이
  • Soondae (Korean Blood Sausage) 순대
  • Yukjeon (Battered & Pan-fried Beef) 육전
  • Kimchi Jeon (Kimchi Pancake) 김치전
  • Kkwabaegi (Twisted, sugar coated Korean doughnuts) 꽈배기
  • ChamCham Jeyuk Hot Dog (with Smoky Gochujang) 제육 핫도그
  • ChamCham Bulgogi Hot Dog (with Honey Pepper Ganjang) 불고기 핫도그

EziBar Drink Specials

Pair your bites with a glass of makgeolli (Korean rice wine), just like locals do at night markets in Korea.

We’re serving two limited-edition soju cocktails inspired by viral Korean trends and pop culture. Available only during the Seoul Autumn Market weekend at EziBar:

  • Ah-Shot-Chu 🍑☕️ (아샷추):  A Korean cult-fave reimagined with a boozy twist. This drink blends peach iced tea, a shot of espresso, and a splash of soju — making it the perfect mix of sweet, refreshing, and just enough caffeine to keep you vibing. Great for those who don’t love strong alcohol but want something fun, flirty, and full of flavour.

  • When Ezi Gives You Tangerines 🍊: Inspired by the hit Netflix K-drama When Life Gives You Tangerines, this cocktail captures the zesty sweetness of Jeju Island tangerines — blended with vodka, soju, and a citrusy kick to brighten your day.

Don’t drink? We’ve got mocktail options and Korean soft drinks too — perfect for families and those just looking to cool down.
